Clair Global opens location in Puerto Rico and welcomes Wichie Sound team

Clair Global has opened a new location in the US territory of Puerto Rico, bringing onboard the experienced team from Wichie Sound Performance, Inc., a local audio services provider. Fernando “Wichie” Martínez, founder and owner of Wichie Sound, will continue to lead the Puerto Rico operations under the Clair Global banner.

“Wichie is well-respected not just in Puerto Rico, but throughout the Caribbean Sea region, and his talented team harmonize naturally with the culture at Clair Global”, comments Troy Clair, CEO, Clair Global. “With their domestic knowledge, we look forward to further enhancing our worldwide offering.”

All staff will become part of Clair Global. Martínez’ team includes Javier “Chico” Morales, Jorge Frontera, Luis “Choco” López, José “Joey” Arias, Juan “Papo” Rivera, Emmanuel “Cano” Morales and Katherine Varley, as well as the newer team members Héctor Quiñones, Abraham Ortiz, Ricardo Rosa and Israel Delgado.

Leading the most prominent sound reinforcement company in Puerto Rico for 37 years, Martínez and his workforce have collaborated with artists including Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, Romeo Santos, Luis Fonsi, Robi Draco Rosa, Ednita Nazario and reggaeton star Bad Bunny, who will undertake a two-month residency in San Juan from July.
